Although Mawhinney's has always sold pies, it was only two years ago that Sam decided it was time for a change and employed a chef and a bakery team to make his own pies. From there it has developed into a lot more than what he had envisioned.

We have an excellent selection of pies for every taste. Why not try our Steak and Guiness pie.

All our pies are made from our own finest quality cubed steak, minced beef and chicken. All are cooked to perfection for tenderness and taste, seasoned with our own recipe gravy and sauces.

Now as well as making pies we also include various savoury dishes and have gone on to supply other outlets in Newtownards and around the peninsula. We make all our own coleslaw, potato salad and jellies.
